This film focuses on one of the lesser-known consequences of America's
involvement in Vietnam - the plight of Vietnamese children sired by
American GIs. It chronicles the quest of one such child, a 17-year-old boy,
to find his father in America.
The film was nominated for best film at the Berlin International Film
Festival in 2004.
